Bespoke ritual + ceremonial sessions
For intentions, transformations, initiations and transitions

Deeply powerful personal ritual and ceremonial sessions created especially for you and your intentions. Ritual and ceremonial practices provide containers for transformative experiences in uniquely supportive ways, allowing us to honor and explore ourselves, our bodies, thresholds and liminal spaces, transitions, releases, deaths, births, intentions, initiations, transformations, and soul-level questions on profoundly deep levels. Each ritual and ceremony is unique to the individual and the moment. Many modern humans and societies are cut off from the guidance, healing, and transformation found in ritual and ceremony, and have lost connections with their ancestral knowledge and medicine-ways. These sessions are not recreations of ancient or living tribal practices, rather, they are made with honor and reverence for these practices and the understanding that what we create is exactly right for us in this moment in time.

TOOLS

Some of the elements and tools which may be incorporated in support of your bespoke ritual or ceremony. Ceremonies and rituals are often most powerful when they remain simple and focused. The elements incorporated into your ceremony will be selected with care and in support your specific needs and intentions.

  • Intuitive guidance from Source: magic, channeling, directions, messages, tool selection, etc.

  • Energy medicine techniques and experiences informed by other practitioners, mentors, teachers, and colleagues: Healing Touch, Reiki, Amy Schill, Jana Kilgore, Cyndi Dale, Awakening Healing AXIS, Lucia Maya, Catherine Herrmann, Anya Tyutyunik, and more

  • Sound: vocalizing, singing, drumming, bells, singing bowls, rattles, affirmations, etc.

  • Motion: passive or active movement, dance, personal physical somatic exploration, etc.

  • Water + ritual bathing: outdoor bathtub, foot baths, face + hand washing, infused + energized water, etc.

  • Guided meditation + visualization

  • Creative Expression: paint, clay, fiber, wax, etc.

  • Power objects and personally significant items or elements

  • Mineral Kingdom allies: sand, soil, stones, gems + minerals

  • Altars: use or creation of altar spaces for focused intention

The Experience

  • A two-part process:

    • A minimum of one foundational session focusing on your emotional, physical, mental and spiritual states, health and wellbeing, and intentions for your ritual or ceremonial session. Multiple sessions are often useful for deeper understanding and preparation, and we will do what is best for you.

    • A separate session for your ritual or ceremonial work and processing. Follow-up sessions are often beneficial.

    • Foundational and ritual sessions are typically separated by one week, minimum. Each session is booked separately and reciprocity for ritual sessions varies.

    • Some individuals may wish to repeat their personal ceremony as a series of rituals, reinforcing, renewing, and honoring their intentions.

  • A space or location selected with intention and consecrated for the purpose and duration of your ritual

  • Emphasis on your choice, direction, autonomy, engagement, participation, consent, sovereignty, and safety

  • Discussion of each of our boundaries and safer-space practices. Consent for touch is obtained (if touch is a potential element of your ritual or ceremonial session)

  • Encouragement to ask questions, change, or stop your ritual or ceremony at any time

  • All participants remain clothed (bathing suits may be used for water/sun rituals)

  • Energetic preparation (intention-affirming, grounding, centering, attuning, energizing, channeling…)

  • An invocation at the beginning of the acknowledging guides, guardians, ancestors, and allies (typically audible, silent by request or as guided by Source)

  • The incorporation of personally important or significant objects, phrases, items, etc.

  • Access to, and the potential inherent in, a variety of modalities and tools to support your intention

  • The possibility of experiencing sensations, visions, messages, and inner-knowings, emotional release, initiations, transformations, and profound experiences as your ritual or ceremony unfolds

  • Closing with a giving-of-thanks to those who came to assist and an opening of the sacred space (typically audible, silent by request or direction from Source)

  • Potential for a closing conversation sharing addressing any questions you may have, insights, and information received during treatment (with your consent)

  • Potential for discussion of ways to incorporate ritual and ceremonial practices into your life, for support of your intention or understandings received

NOTE: Athena, our family’s cat, fancies herself my feline “healing-partner” and often joins clients in the healing studio. Please come prepared if you need special supports for feline contact or proximity.

Most Ritual and Ceremonial Sessions offered In-Person only.
